What’s the difference between AInanny and AInanny B2?

Here are the key differences between the two models:

1. Pan & Tilt Range: AInanny B2 offers a wider vertical rotation range (-15° to 78°), compared to AInanny’s -15° to 35°, allowing for better coverage from floor to ceiling.

2. Video Quality: AInanny delivers 2K 3MP resolution for sharper images, while AInanny B2 records in 1080P Full HD.

3. Night Light: AInanny includes a built-in night light. AInanny B2 does not have this feature.

4. Humidity Sensor: AInanny monitors both temperature and humidity. AInanny B2 only tracks temperature.

How do I insert the SD card into AInanny B2?

Gently slide the camera head upward to reveal the SD card slot, then insert the card into the slot.

Why is my camera suddenly rotating? Was it hacked?

Your camera may have one of the following features enabled:

Motion Tracking: The camera automatically adjusts its angle to follow detected movement.
Sound-Triggered Patrol: When unusual sounds are detected, the camera performs a 360° patrol to monitor the area.
If you notice your camera moving, it’s simply these features functioning as intended.

Does it require Wi-Fi to work properly?

When using the Arenti app: Both the camera and the app must be connected to the internet. If the camera is offline, you won’t receive motion or sound alerts. When connected to Wi-Fi, you can access the live feed and receive notifications anytime via mobile data or Wi-Fi.

When using the monitor: Wi-Fi is not required. You can view footage directly on the screen, which offers a more private and secure way to check in on your baby—no internet connection needed.

Does the AInanny Baby Camera have a built-in battery, or does it need to be charged?

The AInanny Baby Camera does not have a built-in battery and is not rechargeable. It must be plugged into a power outlet to operate.

The monitor, however, does have a rechargeable battery and can be used without being plugged in once charged.

If there’s no outlet near where you want to place the camera, you can use an extension cord of suitable length. Just make sure the Wi-Fi signal is stable in that area.

What is the button on the camera for?

The button on the camera is for one-touch calling. Pressing it allows for two-way talk, so your child or caregiver can instantly reach you through the monitor or app.

What kind of Micro SD card is compatible with the AInanny B2 Baby Camera?

The AInanny B2 Baby Camera supports Micro SD cards up to 256GB. However, the monitor can only support cards up to 128GB.

We recommend using a Class 10 or higher Micro SD card, formatted in FAT32, from a reputable brand for the best performance.

Does the AInanny B2 camera emit radiation? Is it safe for newborns?

The camera is FCC and CE Class B certified and operates at low power on 868 MHz (EU) or 915 MHz (US). The electromagnetic radiation is far below regulatory limits and is considered completely safe—even for newborns.
